The motion to seal defendant’s preliminary life history report, Exhibit A to her motion to
remand, is GRANTED. We find good cause to seal this document based on the medical and other highly
personal information contained in the report, and we determine that there are no less restrictive means to
adequately and effectively protect the interest asserted. We also determine that there is no substantial
public interest in access to the content of the report at this time. MCR 7.211(C)(9)(e); MCR 8.119(I)(1)-
(2).
The Clerk must disclose or provide copies of any order or opinion entered in this appeal,
MCR 7.211(C)(9)(c); MCR 8.119(I)(6), but sealed pleadings or other contents of the file must not be
disclosed or made available for public viewing. The case docket will not be blocked on the Court’s
website.
The Clerk is directed to forward a copy of this order to the Clerk of the Supreme Court and
to the State Court Administrative Office. MCR 7.211(C)(9)(c); MCR 8.119(I)(7).
