Court of Appeals, State of Michigan
ORDER
HEATHER THAYER V SHAWN PAWLOWSKI
Docket No. 380048
LC No. 2020-008861-DM
Adrienne N. Young
Presiding Judge
Michelle M. Rick
Matthew S. Ackerman
Judges
The motion for reconsideration of the April 8, 2026 order is DENIED.
_______________________________
Presiding Judge
Young, P.J. (concurring in the judgment): I write separately to note that, contrary to defendant’s
assertions, neither the title nor the substance of defendant’s or plaintiff’s motions establish that the March
9, 2026 order was a change in the custodial environment. Instead, the recommended parenting order from
February, ultimately adopted by order in March, noted that “the child has a shared established custodial
environment with both parties” and established an interim parenting time schedule “to maintain[]
connections with both parents” and not disturb the custodial environment. The record does not support
the allegation that this Court palpably erred, so I deny reconsideration.
