ORDER
TERESA KAY ICKES V DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES
Docket No. 380726
LC No. 25-028295
Michael F. Gadola, Chief Judge, acting under MCR 7.203(F)(1), orders:
The claim of appeal is DISMISSED for lack of jurisdiction because no statutory provision
authorizes a direct appeal to this Court from the March 18, 2026 order of an administrative law judge with
the Michigan Office of Administrative Hearings and Rules. In this regard, the appellate jurisdiction of
this Court is entirely statutory. See, e.g., Walsh v Taylor, 263 Mich App 618, 622; 689 NW2d 506 (2004).
The motion to waive fees is GRANTED for this case only.
