Stephen L. Borrello, Chief Judge Pro Tem, acting under MCR 7.211(E)(2), orders:
The motion to permit out-of-state attorney Sara L. Ainsworth to appear and practice on
behalf of amici curiae Michigan Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence, National Domestic
Violence Hotline, National Network to End Domestic Violence, and If/When/How is GRANTED for this
appeal only, effective on the date of this order. However, Kylee Sunderlin (P84141) will appear as counsel
of record for these amici curiae. MCR 8.126(A).
The motion of the People of the State of Michigan for leave to file a response to the cross-
appellee briefs filed by the Director of the Department of Health and Human Services and the Attorney
General is also GRANTED. The response submitted with the motion on May 4, 2026 is accepted for
filing as a supplemental brief.
