The motion for guidance is GRANTED to the extent that the appeal is DISMISSED for
lack of jurisdiction because the April 9, 2025 order appealed from is not an order that is appealable by
right under MCR 3.993(A).

The trial court is advised that a “Claim of Appeal and Order Appointing Counsel” order
should be entered under MCR 3.993(D)(3) only if the order being appealed is an order that is appealable
by right under MCR 3.993(A).
