PETITIONING THE COURT
To incorporate the below allegations with the pending petition before the Court (ECF No. 67).
On May 9, 2024, conditions of probation were reviewed and signed by Ms. Gorst acknowledging an understanding
of her requirements and conditions.
The probation officer believes that the offender has violated the following conditions of supervision:
Violation Number
6
Nature of Noncompliance
Special Condition #4: You must abstain from the use of illegal controlled substances, and
must submit to urinalysis and sweat patch testing, as directed by the supervising officer, but
no more than 6 tests per month, in order to confirm continued abstinence from these
substances.
Supporting Evidence: Ms. Gorst is alleged to be in violation of her conditions of probation
by consuming methamphetamine on or before August 15, 2024.
On August 15, 2024, Ms. Gorst attended a substance abuse assessment at Triumph Treatment
Services in Yakima, Washington. Per the substance use disorder professional (SUDP) who
conducted the assessment, Ms. Gorst was “nodding off” during the appointment. A random
drug test was collected, sealed in front of Ms. Gorst and mailed to Drug Scan Laboratory.
Results were received on August 20, 2024, by the SUDP and forwarded via fax on August 21,
2024, to this officer. According to the results, Ms. Gorst was positive for methamphetamine.
