The 2nd Senate of the Federal Constitutional Court rejected an election review complaint in summary form. It referred to the reasons set out in the rapporteur's letter of 27 January 2016 and, pursuant to § 24 sentence 2 BVerfGG, declined to provide additional reasons.
§ 24 Satz 2 BVerfGG; election review complaint may be rejected without further reasons where the Court relies on the reasons previously communicated in a rapporteur’s letter. If the complaint has no prospect of success for those reasons, the Court may dismiss it by order and omit a full reasoning.
