The Second Senate of the Federal Constitutional Court dismissed an election complaint. It referred to the reasons given in the rapporteur’s letter of 7 January 2016 and stated that, pursuant to § 24 sentence 2 BVerfGG, it would provide no further reasoning.
§ 24 S. 2 BVerfGG; dismissal of a constitutional election complaint without further reasons. If the Senate considers the complaint unfounded on the basis of the reasons communicated by the rapporteur, it may dispense with a detailed statement of reasons in the decision itself.
