The Federal Constitutional Court renewed its earlier interim order prohibiting the deportation of an Iraqi asylum seeker to Greece. The renewed protection applies for six additional months, but in any event only until the constitutional complaint is decided. The decision is final and not subject to appeal.
§ 32 Abs. 1, Abs. 6 S. 2 BVerfGG; renewal of an interim order in constitutional complaint proceedings; an interim measure may be repeated where provisional protection remains necessary pending the main proceedings. The renewal is time-limited and may be linked to the decision in the constitutional complaint. The Court may continue existing interim protection without revisiting the merits of the principal complaint where the purpose is solely to secure effective legal protection under Art. 19 Abs. 4 GG.
