2 - Vu le recours formé le 13 mars 2009 par H.________ à l’encontre de la décision prise le 10 février 2009 par la Caisse nationale suisse d'assurance en cas d'accidents, vu la réponse déposée le 19 mai 2009 par l'intimée, vu les écritures subséquentes des parties, vu la déclaration de retrait du recours envoyée par la mandataire du recourant le 20 août 2009, signée par celui-ci le 19 août 2009 ; considérant qu’il y a lieu de rayer la cause du rôle par suite de retrait du recours, selon la procédure de l’art. 94 al. 1 let. c LPA-VD (loi vaudoise sur la procédure administrative, RSV 173.36), qu’il n’y a pas lieu de percevoir des frais de justice (art. 49 LPA-VD).
