The Patriziato appealed against the State Council's resolution approving the revised zoning plan of the municipality. Before the tribunal ruled, the appellant informed the court by letter of 1 February 1997 that it was withdrawing the appeal. The Tribunal of Territorial Planning held that the case had become moot and struck the appeal from the roll. It also ordered that no fees or costs be collected.
