The municipality appealed a 22 July 1997 decision of the Department of Institutions, Office for Permits and Passports, concerning signage. At the site-inspection hearing, the parties concluded a settlement under which the Department would grant the requested authorization subject to several restrictions on advertising content, frequency, brightness, and management. The municipality then withdrew its appeal. The Administrative Court struck the case from the docket and ordered no fees or costs.

statuendo sul ricorso 7 agosto 1997 di
Comune di __________
contro
la decisione 22 luglio 1997, no. 3/1997, del Dipartimento delle istituzioni - Ufficio permessi e passaporti, in materia di insegne;
preso atto che in occasione dell’udienza di sopralluogo, dopo discussione, su proposta del Giudice Delegato le parti sono addivenute alla seguente transazione:
"1. Il Dipartimento delle istituzioni, ufficio permessi e passaporti, rilascerà al comune di __________ l'autorizzazione richiesta alle seguenti condizioni:
1.1. Eliminazione e divieto di qualsiasi altra infrastruttura pubblicitaria sul sedime in questione.
1.2. Contenuti delle inserzioni pubblicitarie ammesse:
manifestazione turistiche o culturali;
pubblicizzazione e infrastrutture direttamente connesse al turismo
informazioni sul traffico.
1.3. Divieto di inserzioni pubblicitarie relative a ditte commerciali.
1.4. Cambiamento delle immagini con frequenza non inferiore ai 30 secondi.
1.5. Luminosità regolata in modo da non abbagliare i conducenti.
1.6. Gestione a cura esclusiva del comune con divieto di delega a terzi.
A queste condizioni il comune ritira il ricorso.
Il Tribunale cantonale amministrativo stralcerà la causa dai ruoli senza spese."
considerato pertanto che il procedimento è così esaurito,
decreta:
Il ricorso è stralciato dai ruoli.
Non si prelevano né tasse, né spese.
