The appellant challenged a 23 January 2001 decision of the Canton family allowances fund. After the fund partly accepted the objections, the appellant informed the court on 1 June 2001 that she withdrew the appeal because she was satisfied with the new position. The Tribunal cantonale delle assicurazioni held that the case had become moot and ordered it struck from the docket. It also ordered that no fees or expenses be levied.
Withdrawal of appeal; mootness; costs. Where the appellant expressly withdraws the appeal after the opposing authority has partly accepted the objections, the proceedings become devoid of object and are struck from the docket. In the absence of a substantive adjudication, no court costs or expenses are charged (consid. 1–2).

Cassa cantonale assegni familiari, 6501 Bellinzona
in materia di assegni di famiglia
letti ed esaminati gli atti;
richiamata l'ordinanza 2.2.01 con la quale il Tribunale ha assegnato alla parte convenuta il termine di rito per presentare la risposta (II);
vista la lettera 1.6.01 della parte ricorrente del seguente tenore:
"Sentite le osservazioni della cassa, la quale ha accolto parzialmente le nostre
contestazioni, dichiaro di ritirare il ricorso in quanto mi ritengo soddisfatta della
nuova posizione." (VII);
rilevato che la causa è divenuta priva di oggetto;
viste le disposizioni della Legge di procedura 6.4.61;
decreta 1. la causa è stralciata dai ruoli;
non si percepiscono né tasse né spese;
intimazione alle parti a sensi ed effetti di legge.
