The claimant appealed against a 24 April 2002 decision on supplementary benefits before the Ticino social insurance court. richiamata l'ordinanza 3.5.02 con la quale il Tribunale ha assegnato alla parte convenuta il termine di rito per presentare la risposta (II);
vista la lettera 14.8.02 della parte ricorrente che comunica il ritiro del ricorso (IV);
rilevato che la causa è divenuta priva di oggetto;
viste le disposizioni della Legge di procedura 6.4.61;
decreta 1. la causa è stralciata dai ruoli;
non si percepiscono né tasse né spese;
intimazione alle parti a sensi ed effetti di legge.
