richiamata l'ordinanza 9 maggio 2000 con la quale il Tribunale ha assegnato alla parte convenuta il termine di rito per presentare la risposta;
vista la comunicazione 20 giugno 2000 della cassa che, su richiesta del TCA, ha trasmesso copia del verbale della Commissione dei __________ del 15 giugno 2000, dal quale risulterebbe il ritiro del ricorso (doc. _);
visto lo scritto 25 agosto 2000 del ricorrente che ha confermato al Tribunale il ritiro del ricorso;
rilevato che la causa è divenuta priva di oggetto;
comunque, riguardo alle modalità con le quali deve avvenire il ritiro del ricorso,
cfr. D. Cattaneo, "Alcuni compiti degli Uffici regionali di collocamento alla luce della giurisprudenza"; Appunti sociali, fascicolo n. 3, Ed. OCST, Pregassona 2000, pagg. 98 - 100;
viste le disposizioni della Legge di procedura 6.4.61;
decreta 1. la causa è stralciata dai ruoli;
non si percepiscono né tasse né spese;
intimazione alle parti a sensi ed effetti di legge.
