The claimant appealed an invalidity insurance decision to the Ticino Cantonal Insurance Court. After the court had ordered translation of the appeal into Italian and requested proof of authority for the representative, the appellant withdrew the appeal by letter of 3 May 2002. The court held that the case had become moot, struck it from the roll, and ordered that no court fees or costs be charged.

vista la lettera 3 maggio 2002 di __________ che dichiara di ritirare il ricorso (IV);
rilevato che la causa è divenuta priva di oggetto;
viste le disposizioni della Legge di procedura 6.4.1961;
decreta 1. la causa è stralciata dai ruoli:
non si prelevano né tasse né spese;
intimazione alle parti a sensi ed effetti di legge.
