The appellant challenged a decision of the Sezione della circolazione dated 24 January 2003. Before the Pretura penale ruled, the circulation authority asked on 20 February 2003 for annulment of its own decision. The president therefore annulled the challenged decision, struck the appeal off the rolls, and ordered that no taxes or costs be collected.
