A company appealed a decision of the Sezione della circolazione to the Pretura penale. Before the court ruled, the authority requested on 2 July 2003 that its own decision be annulled. The President of the Pretura penale therefore annulled the challenged decision and struck the appeal from the docket. The order also provided that no fees or costs would be charged.
