The Tribunal administratif dismissed the appeal against an administrative fine imposed after the unauthorized felling of an oak tree with a circumference of about 3 meters. It held that the competent authority had not abused its discretion in imposing the sanction, and the fine of CHF 3,000 was maintained.

Confirmation d'une amende administrative de CHF 3'000.- infligée par la commission LCI suite à l'abattage non autorisé d'un chêne de 3 mètres de circonférence. Selon le TA, le DIEAR n'avait pas abusé de son pouvoir d'appréciation en condamnant à la taxe le recourant à une amende de CHF 5'000.-.
