The claimant appealed against a cantonal decision confirming the late objection and refusal of EL reimbursement for illness and disability costs. In Erwägung,
dass die Stadt X.________, Durchführungsstelle für Zusatzleistungen zur AHV/IV (Beschwerdegegnerin) mit Verfügung vom 29. März 2011 zulasten der Beschwerdeführerin die EL-rechtliche Vergütung von Krankheits- und Behinderungskosten ablehnte und auf die hiegegen am 27. Mai 2011 eingereichte Einsprache wegen Verspätung nicht eintrat (Einspracheentscheid vom 6. Juni 2011),
dass das Sozialversicherungsgericht des Kantons Zürich die hiegegen erhobene Beschwerde abwies (Entscheid vom 4. Oktober 2011),
dass die Beschwerdeführerin diesen Entscheid ans Bundesgericht weiterzieht und sinngemäss die Wiederherstellung der Einsprachefrist beantragt, da sie zum Zeitpunkt der Zustellung der Verfügung vom 29. März 2011 "nicht urteilsfähig" gewesen sei, weshalb sie sich "nicht um das Administrative" habe sorgen können, wie das am 23. Dezember 2011 nachgereichte Zeugnis des Dr. med. O.________, FMH Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie, vom 21. Dezember 2011 belege,
dass die Vorinstanz im angefochtenen Entscheid für das Bundesgericht verbindlich (Art. 105 Abs. 1 BGG) festgestellt hat, die Beschwerdeführerin habe geltend gemacht, "sie habe die Verfügung vom 29. März 2011 nicht abholen können, da sie einige Tage in den Ferien gewesen sei (Urk. 1)",
dass diese Sachverhaltsfeststellung des kantonalen Gerichts durch die Beschwerdeführerin mit keinem Wort bestritten wird,
dass daher das neu behauptete Vorliegen eines Ende März 2011 akut gewordenen psychischen Beeinträchtigungszustandes (der gemäss neu eingereichtem ärztlichen Schreiben damals zur Urteilsunfähigkeit auch für einfache alltägliche Belange geführt habe) eine neue Sachverhaltsdarstellung bildet, welche nach Art. 99 Abs. 1 BGG klar unzulässig ist,
dass die Beschwerde sonst nichts enthält, was geeignet wäre, in gesetzlich geforderter Weise (Art. 42 Abs. 2 BGG) den angefochtenen Entscheid als bundesrechtswidrig (Art. 95 lit. a BGG) anzugreifen,

dass die Beschwerde daher wegen der Unzulässigkeitsgründe von lit. a und b des Art. 108 Abs. 1 BGG im vereinfachten Verfahren zu erledigen ist, wobei umständehalber von der Erhebung von Gerichtskosten abzusehen ist (Art. 66 Abs. 1 in fine BGG),

erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.

3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Sozialversicherungsgericht des Kantons Zürich und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen schriftlich mitgeteilt.
