The Federal Supreme Court did not enter into the health insurance appeal because the appellant’s filings failed to meet the statutory requirements for the statement of relief and reasoning. The later submission, although adding a request for release from compulsory health insurance coverage, did not materially improve the appeal and still lacked any substantive engagement with the decisive reasoning of the cantonal court. The court therefore applied the simplified non-entry procedure and waived court costs.

The Federal Supreme Court enters on a complaint only if the submissions contain clear requests and a reasoned challenge to the contested decision. In constitutional matters, alleged fundamental-rights violations are examined only insofar as they are specifically invoked and substantiated. A filing that merely reiterates dissatisfaction, without engaging with the decisive considerations of the cantonal judgment, does not satisfy the minimum reasoning requirements and leads to non-entry in the simplified procedure (consid. 1). When no entry is made, costs may exceptionally be waived under Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG (consid. 1).

in die Beschwerde vom 28. Mai 2008 (Poststempel) gegen den Entscheid des Verwaltungsgerichtes des Kantons Zug vom 29. April 2008,
in die Mitteilung des Bundesgerichts vom 29. Mai 2008 an M.________, wonach seine Beschwerde die gesetzlichen Formerfordernisse hinsichtlich Antrag und Begründung nicht zu erfüllen scheint und eine Verbesserung nur innert der Beschwerdefrist möglich ist,
in die daraufhin dem Bundesgericht am 31. Mai 2008 (Poststempel) eingereichte Eingabe des M.________, welche nunmehr den Antrag auf "Entlassung aus dem Krankenkassen-Obligatorium" enthält, ohne sich sonst vom Wortlaut der Beschwerde vom 28. Mai 2008 zu unterscheiden,

in Erwägung,
dass ein Rechtsmittel gemäss Art. 42 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG unter anderem die Begehren und deren Begründung zu enthalten hat, wobei in der Begründung in gedrängter Form darzulegen ist, inwiefern der angefochtene Akt Recht verletzt,
dass das Bundesgericht die Verletzung von Grundrechten nur insofern prüft, als eine solche Rüge in der Beschwerde vorgebracht und begründet worden ist (Art. 106 Abs. 2 BGG),
dass die Eingaben des Beschwerdeführers - namentlich die Rüge, der angefochtene Entscheid verletze das "Recht auf Freiheit" - klarerweise weder den gesetzlichen Mindestanforderungen an eine hinreichende Beschwerdebegründung noch der für Verfassungsrügen erforderlichen erhöhten Substanziierung genügen, und diesen auch nicht ansatzweise eine inhaltliche Auseinandersetzung mit den entscheidwesentlichen Erwägungen der Vorinstanz zu entnehmen ist,
dass deshalb im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist und in Anwendung von Art. 66 Abs. 1 in fine BGG auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten verzichtet wird,

erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.

3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Zug, Sozialversicherungsrechtliche Kammer, und dem Bundesamt für Gesundheit schriftlich mitgeteilt.
