The appellant challenged the Federal Administrative Court judgment confirming the denial of an invalidity pension. The Federal Court held that the appeal did not meet the reasoning requirements of Art. 42 LTF, because it merely listed diagnoses and alleged limitations without demonstrating any legal error in the lower court judgment. A mere enumeration of diagnoses or functional limitations, without addressing the lower court's factual findings or legal reasoning, is insufficient. Where the deficiency is manifest, inadmissibility may be pronounced in simplified procedure under Art. 108 para. 1 lit. b and para. 2 LTF. Judicial fees may exceptionally be waived under Art. 66 para. 1 LTF in light of the circumstances.

recours contre le jugement du Tribunal administratif fédéral, Cour III, du 31 mars 2014.

Vu :

la décision du 17 septembre 2012, par laquelle l'Office de l'assurance-invalidité pour les assurés résidant à l'étranger a dénié à A.________ le droit à une rente, au motif qu'il présentait un taux d'invalidité insuffisant pour lui ouvrir le droit à une telle prestation,
le jugement du 31 mars 2014, par lequel le Tribunal administratif fédéral, Cour III, a confirmé cette décision,
le recours du 13 mai 2014(timbre postal) contre ce jugement,

considérant :

que selon l'art. 42 al. 1 et 2 LTF, le recours doit indiquer, entre autres exigences, les conclusions, les motifs et les moyens de preuve, en exposant succinctement en quoi l'acte attaqué est contraire au droit,
que le recourant se limite à énoncer un certain nombre de diagnostics et de limitations fonctionnelles que ceux-ci entraîneraient,
que l'on ne peut pas déduire de ces considérations en quoi les constatations des premiers juges seraient inexactes ni en quoi l'acte attaqué serait contraire au droit,
que, partant, le recours ne répond manifestement pas aux exigences de l'art. 42 al. 1 et 2 LTF,
que le recours doit être déclaré irrecevable selon la procédure simplifiée de l'art. 108 al. 1 let. b et al. 2 LTF,
qu'en application de l'art. 66 al. 1, 2ème phrase, LTF, il convient compte tenu des circonstances de renoncer à la perception des frais judiciaires,

par ces motifs, le Juge unique prononce :

Le recours est irrecevable.

2.

Il n'est pas perçu de frais judiciaires.

3.

Le présent arrêt est communiqué aux parties, au Tribunal administratif fédéral, Cour III, et à l'Office fédéral des assurances sociales.
