The appellant challenged a Federal Administrative Court ruling in an invalidity insurance case. The Federal Supreme Court had earlier denied legal aid and ordered an advance on costs, later granting an additional deadline with warning of non-entry. Because the appellant still did not pay within the extended period, the court held that the appeal could not be examined and issued a non-entry decision in simplified proceedings. No court costs were levied.
Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG; Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a and Abs. 2 BGG; non-payment of the advance on costs after expiry of the deadline and grace period. If the appellant does not pay the ordered advance within the fixed period or the additional deadline, the Federal Supreme Court enters no further on the appeal in simplified proceedings. The consequence is procedural non-entry without examination of the merits. Pursuant to Art. 66 Abs. 1 second sentence BGG, the court may waive the collection of costs, in particular where the circumstances so justify.

Nach Einsicht
in die Beschwerde vom 13. Mai 2013 (Poststempel) gegen den Entscheid des Bundesverwaltungsgerichts vom 5. April 2013,
in die Verfügung vom 26. Juni 2013, mit welcher das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege abgewiesen und C.________ eine Frist von 14 Tagen zur Einzahlung eines Kostenvorschusses von Fr. 800.- angesetzt wurde,
in die Verfügung vom 29. August 2013, mit welcher C.________ zur Bezahlung eines Kostenvorschusses innert einer Nachfrist bis zum 9. September 2013 verpflichtet wurde, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde,
in Erwägung,
dass der Beschwerdeführer den Vorschuss auch innerhalb der Nachfrist nicht geleistet hat,
dass deshalb gestützt auf Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a und Abs. 2 BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist und in Anwendung von Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 BGG auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten verzichtet wird,
Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Bundesverwaltungsgericht und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen schriftlich mitgeteilt.

The court could not enter into the appeal because the advance remained unpaid even within the extended deadline.
Under Art. 62(3) BGG, failure to pay the required advance within the set time limit, including the grace period, leads to non-entry in simplified proceedings under Art. 108(1)(a) and (2) BGG.
