The Federal Supreme Court dealt with an AHV appeal in which the appellant failed to submit the challenged cantonal judgment despite being ordered to do so and also failed to provide a legally sufficient appeal reasoning. In the simplified procedure, the court held that the formal defect was not remedied within the deadline and that the submissions did not satisfy the requirements of Art. 42 BGG. The appeal was therefore not entered into. No court costs were imposed.

Where an appellant, after judicial warning, does not file the challenged lower-court decision and the submissions still do not contain a sufficient appeal reasoning, the appeal is inadmissible in the simplified procedure. The defect must be cured within the set period; otherwise the Federal Supreme Court may decline to consider the filing without substantive examination. Under Art. 66 Abs. 1 second sentence BGG, court costs may be waived.

Nach Einsicht
in die Eingabe von A.________ vom 30. April 2014 gegen einen Entscheid des Sozialversicherungsgerichts des Kantons Zürich vom 11. März 2014,
in die Verfügung des Bundesgerichts vom 1. Mai 2014, worin A.________ aufgefordert wurde, den vorinstanzlichen Entscheid innert gesetzter Frist beizubringen, ansonsten die Rechtsschrift unbeachtet bleibe, und ferner darauf hingewiesen wurde, dass die Zuschrift die Anforderungen an eine gültige Beschwerde nicht zu erfüllen scheine,
in die daraufhin erfolgte neuerliche Eingabe des Beschwerdeführers vom 7. Mai 2014, worin jedoch nichts weiteres vorgebracht und der angefochtene Entscheid nicht nachgereicht wurde,

in Erwägung,
dass der Beschwerdeführer den ihm vom Gericht gemäss Art. 42 Abs. 5 in Verbindung mit Abs. 3 BGG angezeigten Formmangel der fehlenden Beilage (vorinstanzlicher Entscheid) innerhalb gesetzter Nachfrist nicht behoben hat,
dass weder die Eingabe vom 30. April 2014 noch diejenige vom 7. Mai 2014 etwas enthalten, das als rechtsgenügliche Beschwerdebegründung (Art. 42 Abs. 2 zweiter Satz BGG) in Betracht fiele,
dass deshalb im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a und b sowie Abs. 2 BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist und in Anwendung von Art. 66 Abs. 1 zweiter Satz BGG auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten verzichtet wird,

erkennt der Einzelrichter:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.

Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.

3.

Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Sozialversicherungsgericht des Kantons Zürich und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen schriftlich mitgeteilt.
