The appellant withdrew his federal appeal against the cantonal social insurance judgment after his request for legal aid had been rejected. The Federal Supreme Court therefore discontinued the proceedings by order. It also ordered the appellant to pay court costs of CHF 200. The order was communicated to the parties, the cantonal court, and the Federal Social Insurance Office.

Dezember 2007 - nach der mit Verfügung vom 17. Juni 2008 erfolgten Abweisung seines Gesuchs um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege - zurückgezogen wird,
in Erwägung,
dass die Beschwerde gemäss Art. 71 BGG in Verbindung mit Art. 73 Abs. 1 BZP im Verfahren nach Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG abzuschreiben ist und der Beschwerdeführer nach Art. 66 Abs. 1 und 3 BGG kostenpflichtig wird,
verfügt der Präsident:

Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 200.- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien, dem Kantonsgericht Freiburg, Sozialversicherungsgerichtshof, und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen schriftlich mitgeteilt.
