Xa.________ and Xb.________ challenged the Cantonal Prosecutor's non-entry on their criminal complaint for abuse of office, defamation, obstruction of justice, and forgery. The Solothurn appellate chamber dismissed their cantonal complaint. Before the Federal Supreme Court, the President held that they lacked standing because they were neither private criminal accusers nor victims, and their filing did not satisfy the reasoning requirements of the Federal Supreme Court Act. The appeal was therefore not entered into. The request for free legal aid was denied, and reduced court costs of CHF 500 were allocated to the appellants jointly and severally.

Beschwerde gegen das Urteil des Obergerichts des Kantons Solothurn, Beschwerdekammer, vom 9. September 2010.

Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Die Beschwerde richtet sich dagegen, dass die Staatsanwaltschaft des Kantons Solothurn auf eine Strafanzeige wegen Amtsmissbrauchs, Verleumdung sowie Irreführung der Rechtspflege bzw. Urkundenfälschung nicht eintrat und die Vorinstanz im angefochtenen Entscheid die dagegen eingelegte Beschwerde abwies. Weil die Staatsanwaltschaft am kantonalen Verfahren beteiligt war, sind die Beschwerdeführer nicht Privatstrafkläger im Sinne von Art. 81 Abs. 1 lit. b Ziff. 4 BGG. Da sie durch die angezeigten Straftaten nicht in ihrer körperlichen, psychischen oder sexuellen Integrität unmittelbar beeinträchtigt wurden, und sie solches auch nicht geltend machen, sind sie auch nicht Opfer im Sinne von Art. 81 Abs. 1 lit. b Ziff. 5 BGG in Verbindung mit Art. 1 Abs. 1 OHG. Als blosse Geschädigte, die nicht Opfer sind, sind sie zur Beschwerde in Strafsachen grundsätzlich nicht legitimiert (BGE 136 IV 29; 133 IV 228). Aus welchem Grund die Beschwerdeführer zur Befragung hätten vorgeladen werden müssen, wird in der Beschwerde nicht darlegt. Ebenfalls nicht ersichtlich ist, dass und inwiefern die Vorinstanz im angefochtenen Entscheid ihre Kognition eingeschränkt haben könnte bzw. weshalb die Beschwerdeführer von einer unzulässigen Kognitionseinschränkung durch die Vorinstanz ausgehen. Die Beschwerde genügt damit den Begründungsanforderungen von Art. 106 Abs. 2 BGG nicht. Auf die Beschwerde ist im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind den Beschwerdeführern je zur Hälfte unter solidarischer Haftung aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG). Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege ist in Anwendung von Art. 64 BGG abzuweisen, weil die Rechtsbegehren aussichtslos erschienen. Der finanziellen Lage der Beschwerdeführer ist durch eine herabgesetzte Gerichtsgebühr Rechnung zu tragen (Art. 65 Abs. 2 BGG).
Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.
Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege wird abgewiesen.

3.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden den Beschwerdeführern je zur Hälfte unter solidarischer Haftung auferlegt.

4.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Solothurn, Beschwerdekammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
