The appellant withdrew his federal criminal complaint by letter dated 29 June 2009. The President of the Criminal Division therefore struck the complaint from the docket as moot and ordered that no costs be charged. The order was issued without examination of the merits and was communicated to the parties and to the Bern cantonal appellate court.
