The Federal Supreme Court did not enter into the criminal complaint because the appellant failed to pay the ordered advance costs of CHF 2,000 by the deadline set in the earlier orders. The Court applied the announced consequence under Art. 108 BGG and charged the appellant with court costs of CHF 800 under Art. 66(1) BGG.
Art. 108 BGG; non-payment of ordered advance costs and consequence of non-entry; if the appellant fails to pay the court-ordered advance costs within the prescribed time limit, after prior warning the Federal Supreme Court shall not enter into the appeal. In such a case, the proceedings end by non-entry; the court costs are ordinarily borne by the appellant pursuant to Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

Dem Beschwerdeführer wurden mit Verfügungen vom 15. April und 21. Mai 2014 eine Frist bzw. die gesetzlich vorgeschriebene Nachfrist bis zum 2. Juni 2014 angesetzt, um dem Bundesgericht einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 2'000.-- einzuzahlen, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde. Der Kostenvorschuss wurde nicht geleistet. Auf die Beschwerde ist androhungsgemäss im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.
Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, III. Strafkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

No. Because the appellant failed to pay the ordered advance costs within the prescribed deadline, the Court would not enter into the appeal under Art. 108 BGG.
The appellant had been warned that failure to pay the advance costs by 2 June 2014 would lead to non-entry; as payment was not made, the announced consequence had to follow.

Court costs were charged to the appellant.
As the appeal was not entered into, the costs of the proceedings were imposed on the appellant pursuant to Art. 66(1) BGG.
