X. had conceded that he had not announced the appeal, as required by the CPC, so the complaint failed to show any reviewable legal error. The Court therefore refused to examine the merits, denied free legal aid because the case was hopeless, and imposed reduced court costs of CHF 500 on the complainant.

Der Einzelrichter zieht in Erwägung:

Das Obergericht des Kantons Zürich trat am 11. März 2013 auf eine Berufung nicht ein, weil der Beschwerdeführer das Rechtsmittel nicht angemeldet hatte. Er anerkennt in seiner Beschwerde vor Bundesgericht ausdrücklich, die Berufung nicht angemeldet zu haben. Er führt nur aus, aus welchen Gründen er die Berufung später doch noch erklärt hat. Diese Gründe spielen indessen von vornherein keine Rolle, da es nur auf den unbestrittenen Umstand ankommt, dass der Beschwerdeführer die Berufung nicht angemeldet hat, wie dies Art. 399 Abs. 1 StPO vorschreibt. Inwieweit die Vorinstanz bei der gegebenen Sachlage gegen das Recht verstossen haben könnte, ist der Beschwerde nicht zu entnehmen. Darauf ist im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG). Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege ist in Anwendung von Art. 64 BGG abzuweisen, weil die Rechtsbegehren aussichtslos erschienen. Der finanziellen Lage des Beschwerdeführers ist bei der Bemessung der Gerichtskosten Rechnung zu tragen (Art. 65 Abs. 2 BGG).

Demnach erkennt der Einzelrichter:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.
Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege wird abgewiesen.

3.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.

4.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, I. Strafkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
