The appellant challenged a cantonal criminal decision but refused to pay the CHF 1,000 court cost advance ordered by the Federal Court, even after a reminder and a final deadline. The obligation applies irrespective of the appellant's view on the merits. Court costs may be charged to the appellant under Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Der Beschwerdeführer wurde mit Verfügung vom 1. März 2011 aufgefordert, dem Bundesgericht spätestens am 22. März 2011 einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 1'000.-- einzuzahlen. Am 6. März teilte er mit, er bezahle den Vorschuss nicht, denn es seien andere, die die Kosten zu übernehmen hätten. Mit Schreiben vom 7. März 2011 hielt das Bundesgericht am Kostenvorschuss fest. Weil dieser in der Folge innert Frist nicht einging, wurde dem Beschwerdeführer mit Verfügung vom 28. März 2011 die in Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG vorgeschriebene Nachfrist bis zum 15. April 2011 angesetzt, um den Kostenvorschuss einzuzahlen, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde. Am 1. April 2011 hielt der Beschwerdeführer daran fest, dass er keinen Vorschuss bezahle, weil das Recht auf seiner Seite sei. Indessen sieht Art. 62 BGG ausdrücklich vor, dass grundsätzlich jeder, der das Bundesgericht anruft, einen Kostenvorschuss leisten muss. Dies gilt auch für den Beschwerdeführer. Weil der Vorschuss auch innert der Nachfrist nicht einging, ist androhungsgemäss auf die Beschwerde im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Thurgau schriftlich mitgeteilt.

Art. 62 BGG requires a court cost advance from anyone seizing the Federal Court. After the advance and reminder deadlines expired without payment, non-entry had to follow under Art. 108 BGG.

As the non-entry resulted from the appellant's failure to pay the advance, costs were imposed on him under Art. 66 para. 1 BGG.
