The appellants filed a federal appeal against a decision of the Arlesheim District Court concerning the invalidity of a testamentary disposition. Before the Federal Supreme Court ruled on the merits, they withdrew their appeal by letter dated 12 June 2009. The presiding member therefore struck the proceedings off the roll. The court ordered CHF 300 in costs against the appellants jointly and severally.

Juni 2009 zurückgezogen haben, die Beschwerde daher durch das präsidierende Abteilungsmitglied (Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG) abzuschreiben ist (Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 73 BZP) und die Kosten den solidarisch haftenden Beschwerdeführern aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 5 Abs. 2 BZP, Art. 66 Abs. 1 und 5 BGG),
verfügt das präsidierende Mitglied:

Das Verfahren wird als durch Rückzug der Beschwerde erledigt abgeschrieben.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 300.-- werden den Beschwerdeführern unter Solidarhaft auferlegt.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Bezirksgericht Arlesheim schriftlich mitgeteilt.

The appellants withdrew their filing by letter of 12 June 2009; under Art. 32(2) BGG the single-judge member may dispose of the case, and Art. 71 BGG in conjunction with Art. 73 BZP provides for striking it off.
Allocation of federal court costs after withdrawal.
Court costs are imposed on the appellants jointly and severally.
Because the appeal was withdrawn, the costs are borne by the withdrawing appellants in solidarity under Art. 66(1) and (5) BGG.
