The appellant challenged the cantonal guardianship-supervision decision before the Federal Supreme Court, but then withdrew the complaint by letter of 6 May 2009. The President of the II. Civil Law Division therefore ordered the proceedings struck off as withdrawn and imposed a court fee of CHF 200 on the appellant. The order was communicated to the parties and to the Aargau cantonal appellate guardianship authority.
Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG; Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 73 BZP and Art. 66 Abs. 1 and 5 BGG: If a complaint is withdrawn, the Federal Supreme Court strikes the proceedings from the roll by order of the division president. The withdrawal renders the appeal moot without substantive review. Court costs are ordinarily charged to the withdrawing party; the amount is fixed according to the applicable cost provisions.

Mai 2009 zurückgezogen hat, die Beschwerde daher durch die Abteilungspräsidentin (Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG) abzuschreiben ist (Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 73 BZP) und die Kosten dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 5 Abs. 2 BZP, Art. 66 Abs. 1 und 5 BGG),
verfügt die Präsidentin:

Das Verfahren wird als durch Rückzug der Beschwerde erledigt abgeschrieben.
2.
Die Gerichtsgebühr von Fr. 200.-- wird dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Aargau, Kammer für Vormundschaftswesen als zweitinstanzliche vormundschaftliche Aufsichtsbehörde, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
