The complainant withdrew his constitutional complaint against a Zurich Higher Court ruling. The Federal Supreme Court therefore discontinued the proceedings and struck the case from the docket. It held that the complainant must bear the costs under Art. 66 BGG, but reduced the fee to CHF 300 in view of the limited effort required. The respondent was represented by attorney Hans-Beat Keller.
Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG; withdrawal of the constitutional complaint leads to discontinuance of the proceedings. Upon withdrawal, the case is struck from the docket ex officio. Costs are generally borne by the withdrawing complainant under Art. 66 BGG; a complete waiver requires special circumstances. In fixing the amount, the court may take account of the limited effort generated by the proceedings (consid. 1).

In Erwägung,
dass der Beschwerdeführer mit Schreiben vom 14. Juni 2011 seine Beschwerde vom 16. Mai 2011 gegen den Beschluss des Obergerichts des Kantons Zürich vom 9. Mai 2011 zurückgezogen hat;
dass das Verfahren als durch Rückzug der Beschwerde erledigt abzuschreiben ist;
dass der Beschwerdeführer kostenpflichtig ist (Art. 66 BGG), und im vorliegenden Fall keine Umstände vorliegen, die einen vollständigen Verzicht auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten rechtfertigen würden, indessen bei der Bemessung der Gerichtskosten dem geringen Aufwand für das vorliegende Verfahren Rechnung zu tragen ist;
verfügt die Präsidentin im Verfahren nach Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG:

Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 300.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, II. Zivilkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

The proceedings were discontinued because the complaint had been withdrawn.
A withdrawal of the complaint renders the proceedings concluded and they must be struck from the docket.
Allocation of federal court costs after withdrawal
Court costs of CHF 300 were imposed on the complainant.
The complainant was liable for costs under Art. 66 BGG; no circumstances justified a full waiver, but the modest effort of the case was taken into account in setting the amount.
