X.________ SA filed an appeal against a Geneva appellate judgment in a lease dispute. After being ordered to pay a CHF 5,000 advance on costs and granted an extension, it still failed to pay within the deadline. The Federal Supreme Court therefore declined to enter into the appeal as inadmissible under the Federal Supreme Court Act and charged the appellant with CHF 500 in judicial costs.
Art. 62 al. 3 LTF; Art. 108 al. 1 let. a LTF: non-payment of the requested advance on costs within the prescribed time limit, including an additional period granted by the court, leads to inadmissibility of the appeal. The court may decide in summary procedure without entering into the merits. Where the appeal is not entered into on this ground, the judicial costs are borne by the appellant (consid. 1).

Vu le recours interjeté par X.________ SA contre l'arrêt de la Chambre d'appel en matière de baux et loyers du canton de Genève du 8 octobre 2007 dans la cause précitée.
Vu l'ordonnance du 15 novembre 2007 invitant la recourante à verser jusqu'au 30 novembre 2007 une avance de frais de 5000 fr. et l'ordonnance du 6 décembre 2007 fixant en application de l'art. 62 al. 3 LTF un délai supplémentaire jusqu'au 17 décembre 2007.
Que l'avance de frais requise n'a pas été effectuée dans les délais impartis.
Que le recours est dès lors irrecevable faute d'avance de frais (art. 62 al. 3 LTF).
par ces motifs, vu l'art. 108 al. 1 let. a LTF, le Président prononce:

Le recours est irrecevable.

Les frais judiciaires, arrêtés à 500 fr., sont mis à la charge de la recourante.

Le présent arrêt est communiqué aux parties et à la Chambre d'appel en matière de baux et loyers du canton de Genève.
