The appellant withdrew the civil appeal against the Zurich cantonal decisions concerning eviction and termination protection. The Federal Supreme Court therefore discontinued the proceedings by order. It also imposed court costs of CHF 300 on the appellant pursuant to Art. 66(3) BGG.
Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG, Art. 66 Abs. 3 BGG; withdrawal of an appeal and costs consequences: where the appellant withdraws the civil appeal, the Federal Supreme Court strikes the case from the roll without examining the merits. The withdrawing party ordinarily bears the court costs, which may be fixed in a summary order pursuant to Art. 32(2) BGG; costs are imposed in accordance with Art. 66(3) BGG.

dass die Gerichtskosten dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 3 BGG);
verfügt die Präsidentin im Verfahren nach Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG:

Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.

Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 300.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien, dem Kassationsgericht des Kantons Zürich und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, II. Zivilkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
