Erwägungen:
Die Steuerverwaltung des Kantons Bern wies am 12. Oktober 2007 ein Gesuch von X.________ um Erlass der Kantons- und Gemeindesteuern 2005 ab. Gegen diesen letztinstanzlichen kantonalen Entscheid (vgl. Art. 240 Abs. 5 des Steuergesetzes des Kantons Bern vom 21. Mai 2000 [StG]) beschwert sich X.________ mit einem vom 6. November 2007 datierten Schreiben (Postaufgabe 7. November, Eingang beim Bundesgericht 12. November 2007) beim Bundesgericht. Auf Aufforderung vom 14. November 2007 hin hat die Beschwerdeführerin am 23. November 2007 den angefochtenen Entscheid nachgereicht. Die Eingabe kann - höchstens - als subsidiäre Verfassungsbeschwerde entgegengenommen werden (vgl. Art. 113 in Verbindung mit Art. 83 lit. m BGG).

Mit der Verfassungsbeschwerde kann allein die Verletzung von verfassungsmässigen Rechten gerügt werden (Art. 116 BGG). Das Bundesgericht prüft die Verletzung von Grundrechten (verfassungsmässigen Rechten) nur insofern, als eine solche Rüge in der Beschwerde vorgebracht und begründet wird, d.h. wenn dargelegt wird, inwiefern der angefochtene Entscheid solche Rechte verletzt haben soll (Art. 106 Abs. 2 und 42 Abs. 2 BGG). Innert der (abgelaufenen) Beschwerdefrist hat die Beschwerdeführerin kein verfassungsmässiges Recht genannt, das durch den negativen Erlassentscheid verletzt worden sein soll. Es fehlt damit offensichtlich an einer hinreichenden Beschwerdebegründung (Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG), sodass im vereinfachten Verfahren gemäss Art. 108 BGG, ohne Schriftenwechsel oder weitere Instruktionsmassnahmen, auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist.

Dem Verfahrensausgang entsprechend sind die Gerichtskosten (Art. 65 BGG) der Beschwerdeführerin aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 1 BGG).

Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtsgebühr von Fr. 300.-- wird der Beschwerdeführerin auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird der Beschwerdeführerin und der Steuerverwaltung des Kantons Bern schriftlich mitgeteilt.
