The Federal Supreme Court dealt with a VAT appeal after the appellant, following an order requiring it to clarify its intentions, stated that it did not wish to pursue the appeal. The Court therefore struck the case from the docket. It also ordered that no court costs be charged and no party compensation be awarded.

Considerando:
che il 27 gennaio 2012 il Tribunale amministrativo federale ha trasmesso al Tribunale federale la lettera inviatagli il 24 gennaio precedente dallo Studio A.________ a seguito della sua decisione del 15 dicembre 2011 in materia d'imposta sul valore aggiunto;
che tale trasmissione è stata effettuata al fine di preservare eventuali diritti ricorsuali del contribuente dato che, a parere del Tribunale amministrativo federale, dalla lettera del 24 gennaio 2012 non risultavano in modo chiaro le sue intenzioni al riguardo;
che con decreto del 31 gennaio 2012 il Tribunale federale ha invitato lo Studio A.________ a comunicargli entro il 10 febbraio 2012 se voleva ricorrere o no nonché, nel caso in cui era sua intenzione adire questa Corte, a completare il proprio gravame, pena la sua inammissibilità per difetto di motivazione (art. 42 LTF);
che con lettera del 6 febbraio 2012 lo Studio A.________ ha comunicato al Tribunale federale che non intendeva interporre ricorso contro la decisione del Tribunale amministrativo federale;
che, in queste condizioni, la presente causa va stralciata dai ruoli;
che non si prelevano spese (art. 66 cpv. 1 LTF) né si assegnano ripetibili (art. 68 cpv. 3 LTF);
per questi motivi, il Presidente decreta:

La causa 2C_86/2012 è stralciata dai ruoli.
2.
Non si prelevano spese né si concedono ripetibili.
3.
Comunicazione allo Studio A.________, all'Amministrazione federale delle contribuzioni e al Tribunale amministrativo federale, Corte I.
