The appellant challenged a Zurich detention judge’s order concerning release from pre-trial detention by way of constitutional complaint. Before the Federal Court decided the matter, he withdrew the complaint. The court therefore struck the proceedings from the roll as withdrawn and ordered that no costs be charged.

dass K.________ am 9. Juli 2003 staatsrechtliche Beschwerde gegen die Verfügung des Haftrichters des Bezirksgerichts Zürich vom 7. Juli 2003 erhoben hat,
dass der Beschwerdeführer mit Schreiben vom 22. Juli 2003 seine Beschwerde zurückgezogen hat,
dass das Beschwerdeverfahren somit als durch Beschwerderückzug erledigt abzuschreiben ist,
dass keine Kosten zu erheben sind,
verfügt:

Das Verfahren wird als durch Rückzug der Beschwerde erledigt abgeschrieben.
2.
Es werden keine Kosten erhoben.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird dem Beschwerdeführer, der Bezirksanwaltschaft V für den Kanton Zürich, Büro B-1, und dem Bezirksgericht Zürich, Haftrichter, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
