Chapter 47:04:01 Wage collection

ARSD 47:04:01:01 Form required for claims

All claims for unpaid wages under SDCL 60-11 shall be filed with the division in writing. A simple letter stating the facts, such as amount owed, name and address of the employer, and period of time worked is sufficient.

ARSD 47:04:01:06 Assignment of wage claim

The division after having determined that a claim for wages is valid may take assignment of the wage claim on forms approved by the division.
