AN ACT

Amending Title 35 (Health and Safety) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in emergency telephone service, further providing for termination.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1. Sections 5311.4(h) and 5398 of Title 35 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes are amended to read:

§ 5311.4. Wireless E-911 Emergency Services Fund.

(h) Surcharge sunset.--The wireless E-911 surcharge fee established in subsections (b) and (b.1) shall terminate on June 30, [2014] 2015 , unless extended by an act of the General Assembly.

§ 5398. Termination.

This chapter shall expire June 30, [2014] 2015 .

Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
