Chapter 1 Board of Regents

760 KAR 1:010 Acquisition and disbursement of funds {#sec-760-kar-1-010 omnilex-key=us-ky-regs-official--title-760--760 KAR 1:010}

Section 1. The Board of Regents of Northern Kentucky University, under the authorization of KRS 164A.560, elects to perform the financial management functions specified in KRS 164A.560(2).

Section 2. The Board of Regents of Northern Kentucky University, under the authorization of KRS 164A.560, shall establish an accrual basis accounting system and perform the financial management functions specified in KRS 164A.575, Sections (2), (3), (6), (7) and (8).

Section 1. The Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents shall engage a qualified firm of certified public accountants pursuant to KRS 164A.570.

Section 1. The Board of Regents of Northern Kentucky University, under the authorization of KRS 164A.560, elects to perform the financial management functions specified in KRS 164A.575, Sections (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8), (10), (11), and (12).

760 KAR 1:040 Delegation of financial management responsibility {#sec-760-kar-1-040 omnilex-key=us-ky-regs-official--title-760--760 KAR 1:040}

Section 1.

(1) The president of the university shall be authorized by the Board of Regents of Northern Kentucky University to perform the financial management functions specified in KRS 164A.565, 164A.575, and 164A.620.

(2) The president shall be responsible for submitting to the State Property and Buildings Commission information and requests for approval of any bond project approved by the Board of Regents.

Section 1. The Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents, under the provision of KRS 164A.560, elects the authority to issue bonds subject to the conditions as set forth in KRS 164A.605.

Section 1. The Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents authorizes the establishment of a fund for excellence pursuant to KRS 164A.620.

Section 1. The president acting on behalf of the Board of Regents and under the provisions of KRS 164A.560, elects to perform all functions relating to capital construction in accordance with KRS 164A.575, 164A.580, 164A.585, 164A.590, 164A.595 and 164A.600.
