635 State of Alabama Optometric Scholarship Awards Board

Ala. Admin. Code r. 635-X-4-.01 Major Scholarship Recipients

Students who receive major financial aid from another source, such as Armed Forces Scholarships, Public Health Scholarships, Exceptional Need Scholarships and so forth are not eligible for state loans. Recipients of state loans who receive major financial aid as determined by the Board from another source, must relinquish the state loan.

Ala. Admin. Code r. 635-X-4-.02 Nonresident Students

Students who are not bona fide residents of Alabama are not eligible to receive state loans unless they are participating in the Alabama Optometric Service Program. [635-X-2-.03(1)]

Recipients of loans must be full-time students who are making satisfactory progress to qualify for the O.D. and/or M.S. or Ph.D. degree(s). Part-time students are not eligible.
