Ala. Admin. Code r. 482-1-155-.01 Purpose And Authority

(1) The purpose of this chapter is to set the charge for the publication of certain materials for public distribution.

(2) This chapter is adopted pursuant to Code of Ala. 1975, §§27-2-16 and 27-2-17.

Ala. Admin. Code r. 482-1-155-.02 Producer Directory

The price for obtaining a directory on compact disk of each producer licensed in this state is $200.00.

Ala. Admin. Code r. 482-1-155-.03 Electronic Copy Of Rating Manual

(1) Electronic copies of rating manuals are freely available through the Web site maintained by Department of Insurance.

(2) The price for providing an electronic copy of a particular insurer’s rating manual by Department of Insurance staff is $10.00.

(3) In the event the electronic copy of a rating manual cannot be provided as an attachment to an electronic mail message, there shall be an additional charge of $5.00 to cover the cost of providing a compact disk and copying the electronic file to the compact disk.

Ala. Admin. Code r. 482-1-155-.04 Severability And Effective Date

(1) If any rule or portion of a rule or its applicability to any person or circumstance is held invalid by a court, the remainder of this chapter or the applicability of the provision to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected.

(2) This chapter shall become effective upon its approval by the Commissioner of Insurance and upon its having been on file as a public document in the office of the Secretary of State for ten days.
