PETITIONS FOR REVIEW
(489 P3d 540-546)
ALLOWED
July 8, 2021
State v. Burris, Michael Garrett (A164853)(S068514)(309 Or App 167)
State v. Colgrove, Rhonda (A169952)(S068372)(308 Or App 441)
State v. Camirand, Scott Leander (A165966/67)(S067790)(303 Or App 1). Petition
for review allowed; decision of Court of Appeals vacated, and case remanded to
Court of Appeals for reconsideration in light of State v. Banks, 367 Or 574, 481
P3d 1275 (2021), and State v. Payne, 366 Or 588, 468 P3d 445 (2020).
State v. Jones, Eric, (A162977)(S066437)(294 Or App 885). Petition for review
allowed in part, limited to appropriate disposition of Counts 1, 5, 6, 7, 14,
and 16 in light of Ramos v. Louisiana, 590 US ___, 140 S Ct 1390, 206 L
Ed 2d 583 (2020); petition for review otherwise denied. For reasons given in
State v. Ulery, 366 Or 500, 464 P3d 1123 (2020), the court accepts the state’s
concession that defendant’s Sixth Amendment challenge to his conviction
on Counts 1, 5, 6, 7, 14, and 16 in Multnomah County case no. 15CR44943
qualifies for plain error review and exercises its discretion to correct the error.
The court therefore reverses defendant’s convictions on Counts 1, 5, 6, 7, 14,
and 16 in case no. 15CR44943. Decision of Court of Appeals reversed in part;
judgment of circuit court reversed in part, and case remanded to circuit court
for further proceedings.
State v. Montano, Max Paul, Jr. (A167088)(S067400)(300 Or App 812). Petition

___, 140 S Ct 1390, 206 L Ed 2d 583 (2020).
