Court of Appeals, State of Michigan
ORDER
ANDREW EMERY REAGAN V LACI NICHOLE REAGAN
Docket No. 380761
LC No. 23-059221-DM
Michael F. Gadola, Chief Judge, acting under MCR 7.203(F)(1), orders:
The motion to waive fees is GRANTED for this appeal only.
The claim of appeal and “emergency ex parte motion for stay pending appeal” are
DISMISSED for lack of jurisdiction. MCR 7.203(A)(1); MCR 7.202(6)(a). The May 14, 2026
postjudgment order, from which the appeal was claimed, denied entry of a proposed ex parte order to stay
“the proceedings and the enforcement of the verbal order of May 11, 2026,” and it also required the parties
to follow “the current order of the Court.” This postjudgment order does not meet any of the final order
definitions in MCR 7.202(6)(a), and the Court does not have jurisdiction, MCR 7.203(A)(1). Dismissal
is without prejudice to whatever other relief may be available consistent with the court rules.
