The Federal Constitutional Court summarily rejected an election review complaint. It stated that the complaint had no prospect of success for the reasons given in the rapporteur’s letter of 14 April 2016 and, under § 24 sentence 2 BVerfGG, provided no further reasons.
§ 24 S. 2 BVerfGG; election review complaint may be rejected without further reasons if the Court considers it manifestly unfounded or otherwise without prospect of success. The Court may confine itself to referring to reasons previously communicated by the rapporteur and omit a full statement of reasons.
