2 - Vu le recours interjeté le 23 juin 2011 par J.________ contre une décision du 24 mai 2011 de l’Office de l’assurance-invalidité pour le canton de Vaud, l’ordonnance du 29 juin 2011 par laquelle le tribunal a exigé le paiement d’une avance de frais de 400 fr. dans un délai échéant le 15 août 2011, la lettre du recourant du 21 juillet 2011, rédigée en ces termes : «concerne : Je tire recours de la date du 23 juin 2011», considérant que, par cette lettre, J.________ manifeste sa volonté de retirer son recours, qu’il convient par conséquent de rayer la cause du rôle et de renoncer à la perception de frais de justice, que la procédure prévue par l’art. 94 al. 1 let. c LPA-VD (loi vaudoise du 28 octobre 2008 sur la procédure administrative; RSV 173.36) est applicable.
