The appellant challenged a Gran Council decision approving a territorial plan concerning road correction and a new border crossing. Before the court decided the merits, the appellant's representative withdrew the appeal by letter of 20 August 2001. The Tribunal of Territorial Planning held that the case had become moot and ordered the appeal struck off the docket. It also decided that no court fees or expenses would be collected.
Appeal withdrawal; mootness; striking off the docket and costs. When the appellant withdraws the appeal, the proceedings become moot and the court strikes the case from the docket. In such circumstances, absent a contrary basis, no fees or expenses are levied (consid. 1-2).
