The appellants withdrew their appeal by letter of 24 March 1999 in a case concerning forest delimitation. The Tribunal of the Planning of the Territory found that the matter had become moot and ordered the appeal struck from the docket. It also decided that no court fees or costs would be levied.
Withdrawal of the appeal; mootness; costs. When the appellants unambiguously withdraw their appeal, the proceeding becomes devoid of object and is struck from the docket. In such circumstances, the court may order that no fees or expenses be charged.
