The appellant challenged the Cantonal Government's approval of a revised zoning plan before the Ticino Territorial Planning Court. After the appellant withdrew the appeal by letter of 8 September 1999, the court held that the proceedings had become moot. It therefore struck the appeal from the docket and ordered that no court fees or expenses be charged.
Appeal withdrawal; mootness; removal from the docket and costs. Where the appellant expressly withdraws the appeal before judgment, the proceedings lose their object and are struck from the docket; in such a situation, the court may order that no taxes or costs be levied.
